Winter Wonderland Wedding

Updated: Oct 28, 2018

I love weddings. Obviously. You have to love them to stay up working on them until 3 in the morning to make them perfect. It's always the most exciting for me when someone I love is getting married. In this case it was my stunning older sister Brooke. My now brother-in-law and sister had been dating for 10 years before he FINALLLLLY popped the question. So there was no surprise she didn't want to wait any longer and we got to work on the whirlwind of planning a wedding in a short amount of time.

My sister wanted more than anything for it to snow on her wedding day. Ferbruary 10 2018 sure delivered just that and the proof is in these UNBELIVABLE photos captured by none other than K THOMPSON Photography.

My sister asked me to stand beside her for her wedding day and I couldn't have been more honoured. Albeit, when she asked I was in the peak of my self confidence - I was genuinely happy with my appearance, especially my mid back length hair.

Then, two months later we found out about the big C - so I knew I was going to lose all of that glorious hair.

I was so anxious about what to do when her wedding came - would I wear a wig? A scarf? After talking with my sister, she said "Go bald" and so I did.

And frig, if you're looking for confidence, the girls at Fancy Face are your best bet. They completely transformed my sisters already beautiful wedding party into straight up goddesses.
